Challenge #54 ~ Try This Recipe

Good Morning,

Welcome back for another Tuesday with the Die Cuttin' Divas. We are glad you are joining us. What did you think of our second Diva's Favorite Cartridge Spotlight? Patty did an amazing job with Baby Steps. Although my children are teenagers and I have no plans to have any more babies, I know lots of others still expanding their families. This seems like a great cartridge to use. Thanks Patty for sharing!

We have a new challenge this week and we sure hope you will share your card, layout, or altered project. Have fun...I know I had supplies flying everywhere!

Onto The Challenge... It's a Recipe...

Diva's Favorite Cartridge Spotlight #2

Hello my friends! It's Patty!

I'm here today at the Die Cuttin' Divas blog to showcase a cartridge that I recently purchased a month ago and have been dying to finally try it out. This cartridge has so many adorable images, which go perfectly for baby shower party decor, invitations, layouts, and more. This cartridge is perfect for those who are becoming first time mommies. I am not a mommy yet, but hopefully one day I will be blessed with a family. For now, I enjoy creating cards for friends of mines who are blessed with a new addition to their family.  This cartridge has adorable baby boy and baby girl cuts, as well as things that babies need.

Challenge #53: Favorite Pet

Good Morning,

Welcome back for another Tuesday with the Die Cuttin' Divas. We are glad you are joining us. What did you think of our Diva's Favorite Cartridge Spotlight? There is another one coming soon and Patty has agreed to share hers. Well, we have a new challenge this week and we sure hope you will share your card, layout, or altered project.

Did you know that  Love Your Pet Day is today, February 21st? How about it is Responsible Pet Owner's Month?

What type of pet do you own? As I was growing up we always had fish, hamsters, dogs, and/or birds. I have allowed my kids to have their share of pets (dogs, hamsters, tropical fish, finches, and even a Red-Slider turtle that would escape from the pond continually until one day he didn't return. We are not really sure what happened to him, but he must not have been happy living with us or he wouldn't have kept crawling away.

Onto The Challenge...
Create a project with an image or die-cut of your favorite pet.

Diva's Favorite Cartridge Spotlight

Welcome!
Today we are trying something new here at Die Cuttin' Divas. We are spotlighting a Diva's favorite cartridge and Candy agreed to go first. We hope you enjoy!

Hey everyone, it's Candy!
I'm here today at the Die Cuttin' Divas blog to showcase a cartridge that is a favorite of many crafters, Create a Critter. This cartridge is so versatile and not to mention so super cute!! There is everything from dinosaurs, insects, puppies and kittens and every critter in between. There is something for every occasion and holiday. Not to mention it layers so easily. That was very helpful when I was starting out making cards.

Here are some of the cards I have made with this great cartridge:
Click on any of the pics to go to the original post. I apologize, some of these cards were made when I first started blogging, so I didn't list the sizes in the post. For standard A2 size cards most images can be cut between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2, depending on the look you are after.

This first card is recent for a challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas-Squirrel Appreciation Day. She was cut at 3 1/2 inches.

This little dino card was the second card I ever made.

My co-worker(Laurie) gave me some of my favorite candies, so I made this little card to thank her.

This one for my daughter Carlie.

This little bear was for hubby. My first attempt at a masculine card. It needed buttons for sure. LOL!
I made this little card for my "niece" Amy. She loves cows

I made this one for my Bestie Bonnie! Little bears cut at 3 inches. I love this little panda.

This little puppy was cut at 2 1/2 inches. For my brother Chris.
Brothers, Sisters, Mothers, Fathers, Friends, Co-workers, Children. This cartridge is for everyone! Create a Critter is a card maker's go-to cartridge. You will never get bored with this one. I hope you enjoyed my showcase today.

Don't forget about our weekly challenge. You still have time to enter the Pick Two Colors challenge and we have a great sponsor, Cute as a Button, this week.

Take Care and Keep Creating,
Candy
